Abandoned Kertajati Airport

 Again and again, my dad and I visited a place very rarely known to many people. indeed I did not know, my dad recommended me for this place that was long ago. The airport was formerly active for domestic flights but, now it is almost no one. 

This Kertajati airport can generally be an international airport because it has a long runway.maybe because there is a political problem inside this airport is not perfectly visited. This airport is very far from Jakarta! my trip to this airport can be up to 3 hours more! the first thing I saw when entering the airport area was the rider who raced around the airfield!.

I saw a few aircraft parked inside the airport. there were 2 aircraft like I type it was an A340 airbus series. I’m sure the aircraft was no longer in use because the engine was closed with cloth. There were a few people who picniced in this airport because the air was very cold and secure but, I felt something unpleasant. fortunately I was at the airport only for a moment to take pictures in the afternoon.

This was my first experience of visiting an airport that was already inactive. really interesting and able to know a project that failed. stay tuned on my blog to see a weird and unique place!.
