My adventure to West Europe : Netherland, Belgium
Amsterdam is a strange city, but strange things are not strange at all because they are rooted from the most civilized ideas. A city in which you should not be surprised to see a warning: “You will be not arrested for using drugs in Amsterdam". Which means you will not be considered guilty if you use drugs. Arrived in Netherland and i headed to Amsterdam. On the way to the hotel, I passed a lot of shopping places and drugs places. Very crowded!.
The next day, I went to Zaanse Schans. Zaanse Schans is a famous windmill town near to Amsterdam. Located in Zann district where it used to be populated with numerous industrious windmills The Zaanse Schans is very pretty but very touristy. There is a museum and then various so-called museums that are actually shops, like the Bakery Museum, the Cheese Farm. What is totally worth seeing are the windmills along the river. I went the sawmill and the oil mill. Very cool!.watching the mechanics of the windmill at work and strange the lack of motor sounds. The sawmill is really fantastic.
The guide gave me 2 hours very satisfied!. From Zaanse Schans I headed to Volendam. Volendam is a Dutch town known for its colorful wooden houses and the old fishing boats in its harbor, which is lined with seafood vendors. Volendam is located in North Holland, 20 kilometers north of Amsterdam. Volendam's traditional costume is one of the most popular examples of ancient Dutch clothing (klederdracht).
Many merch stores at side of the road. I bought some key chain and souvenir and I took pictures using traditional clothes in Volendam . Very unique!. Before leaving Amsterdam city, I had the opportunity to go on a canal cruise. Which is one of the favourite tours of the city of Amsterdam.
After cruising the river at Volendam, I headed straight to Amsterdam hotel. Next day I went to 2 countries Belgium and France !!. First stop at Brussels. The most popular at Brussels is The Manneken Pis. Standing on a socle in the Rue de l'Étuve, at a stone's throw from the Grand Place, this naked little boy is peeing as a full-time job. In order to do this in style, he's regularly dressed up in different costumes that refer to people or events. I can't take a photos very crowded at there !. Beside Manneken Pis, there was the town square called Grand Place. Many kinds of chocolate. Belgium is the second country which is famous for its chocolate.
I don't really like chocolate, and after I tried it in Belgium, it was really delicious!!. But, the chocolate was very expensive!. It's almost noon, I had to hurry back to the bus, and go straight to France in about 3 hours.
